Detroit early morning radio display Mojo in the Morning hours posted artwork of Fakih competing its 2007 "Stripper 101" contest. For the competition, strippers showed female listeners some moves and the "finest student" was the grand-prize winner. Relating to the station, only females were in attendance and the performers were all completely clothed.
The images, which the station claimed have been circulating on their webpage for years, indicate Fakih dancing completely clothed and with dollar expenses stuffed in her bra after successful the opposition.
The stereo station says it was all in very good entertaining, but Mojo in the Morning wrote on its internet site Monday that Miss USA officials contacted them "requesting additional photographs and information" regarding Fakih's involvement in the contest. When the show's producers asked pageant officials if the images would have an effect on Fakih's title, they wouldn't reply.
"Mojo in the Morning fully supports Rimah Fakih as she represents Detroit and America in the Miss Universe contest," a Mojo staffer emailed Celebrity Circuit. "The radio demonstrate will not entertain requests to drag her name through the mud."
As to a report posted on TMZ.com, Fakih earned prizes such as "jewelry, gift cards, adult toys and a stripper pole for property use" just after winning the levels of competition.
